I don't see why my stats, which are fully legit, and have been recording fine should be reset - If they were it would be just another reason to play something else.
And person above, who cares if someone didn't earn everything? It is not your problem
Because if you have 'earned' your levelling through a system that hasn't treated all of its users fairly, in the grand scheme of things your stats are not legit at all.
except that they are legit as they are my stats which I have been followign closely and every kill/death etc. is there. Other peoples stats not recording etc. does not invalidate my stats.

If a system is unfair on the whole, which it is, then you cannot have a legitimate standing in that system regardless of whether it appears to be working fine or not.

you can see them if you want, they are not great, but I do not understand what that has to do with anything.

I'm one of the players that has somehow gotten outrageously inflated stats, giving me some unlocks that I haven't earned. From what I've seen on some other forums, this is easily replicable, and I'll bet that many people have completely broken the unlock system.

After the recent patch, it's currently leveled up my guns all to level 30 or 50, I'm hero in 4 classes and am honor level 92. It seems after every patch, my stats will jump up significantly after a match.

Why people care so much about stats do they make you better player
,I personaly only care about getting the bayonet on my Kar98 or G41 the rest I dont give a s*** about stats,this game has became too much look like to other FPS not to be named here because dont whant to rage some ppl what have tripwire do to our beloved RO that i fall inlove 5 years ago,Ihope they gona reset the stats in a future patch and if people get mad about that them they should not play this game but go play other fps that are out there but not in world war 2 era.JUST GET RIDE OFF THE STATS AND OTHER STUFF LIKE KILL CAM ONCE FOR ALL .Im sure the Vets from RO 1 will be on my side on this.

Please reset the stats and delete all of the Steam Achievements. Some of mine were earned, most of them weren't. I don't want a single badge reflected that I did not earn. I'd rather start over.
all stats are messed up... there is absolutely no way that yours - out of the many 1000s who have reported the bug, and the many more 1000s who have not... just yours... just yours are perfect???

a stat wipe would be the best solution - for those who have dedicated so many hours into the game, im sure you would continue to do so with or without a wipe... and for those who have not played that much - your stats need a good wipe'n cuz you surely didnt earn all that you have!

@ OP Subject. IF any of the original data can be extracted from the DB and ensured to be accurate then I would say we could reset to that data. Otherwise as others have stated it would be best to restart to de-nada for everyone.
Failing that mandatory reset people should be able to manually reset, and receive a one time medal for it in their achievements.
I personally find the idea of cheating useless as it provides no sense of accomplishment, same thing applies here, if these are not the stats I have earned then they mean nothing to me. As such they are better off reset, or removed altogether.
The major problem is that the stats give definite game bonuses. Faster reloading, less sway, more endurance... It's a BIG deal.for fairness of gameplay, it would be better to remove them altogether until they have it working. Otherwise, those who don't get bugged jumps are unfairly hit by those who got jumps without earning them.

Kill a Russian machinegunner anytime you want it. They all carry it around it seems. It appears that the DP-28 was phased out of combat use by Soviet forces in Stalingrad and replaced by the dual mag MG-34.
