The story.
A group of scientists captured a juvenile giant squid and released it into Fawtick Bayou to study how the apex predator will adapt/survive.
Once the squid escapes the Maneater team buys the rights to film and make a documentary based on its recapture.
Why gaint squid.
-The squid plays differently to any other creatures killer whales, alligators, dolphins, ect would feel similar to the shark we have now.
-The squid could offer a stealth/ambush playstyle using ink to run on failed ambushes or evade/blind. -Interaction with objects would also be different due to arms/tentacles. Tentacles would allow for sniping hunters/bathers.
-A kraken as the final level up would be more appealing then other options.
-Plus floppy squid would look awesome.
Evolutions.
-Stealth based evolution with chameleon skin and massive ambush damage.
-Grappling evolution with hooked arms/tentacles that focuses on boat/ship damage.
-Vampire evolution blood sucking tentacles heal while inflicting damage great for tanking/Apex predators.

I feel this would add a more unique experience then other options please share your thoughts below. Also note I quickly typed this up before bed so will likely add to it at some point. Otherwise I would have forgotten it.
If Tripwire decide to move away from sharks for Maneater 2/DLC what would be your preferred replacement?
