Getting Your Map on the White List

Yea and if you come back in lets say 1 or 2 years the map might be whitelisted maybe :) (sry couldnt keep that joke for myself)

But honestly i requested a map last feb still not listed , both maps i requested checked for bugs or exploids. Also Ro2 is on the market. How much work is actually to whitelist this by time ? Would be cool if you guys do it once a while :)

The map was dewhitelisted for a good reason, so no point trying to sneak it back in.

Also you could at least rename the map to something else than "Defense-b8", you are not the original author so now it looks like as if theres a new version of the classic but its only a remake...

I never said only authors request their maps to be whitelisted, but I happen to know that about 99% of the requests are made by the original authors and thats also the way it goes here. Some authors dont even want their maps on the whitelist. But what I ment is you are taking credit for someone elses work by using his map as a base and also keeping the filename same (with only the beta number changed). I know that Falidell gave a permission to modify his maps but - like I said - atleast rename the map to something else...

And what comes to the reason for dewhitelisting, the map was just generally extremely easy and had some nasty exploits here and there. And your new version just makes it worse from what I saw (exploit wise)

i agree with HaTeMe on this(on both statements b2 was exploit heavie, and you're...b8 is no bueno either i've played it before on a custom server.. i might has saw you on it..), as the original creator i do i get a say on this, yes i did give permission to modify my levels but you cannot name them for example kf-Defence or Kf-Defence-Final, in general terms it cannot be as if it's the original or a final... kf-Defence-b8 implies it's an original but updated... kf-defence-TreeHouse i think would be acceptable but you get the idea

my answer for allowing this is NO
