Alright, so here's my problem, I want to get the vehicle models into a format I can use to get them into 3ds Max, but I can't export them from the SDK. I have no problem getting the textures out, but the models are a different story. I've tried UT Package Tool, but came up with this error:

So, I'm wondering if it's possible to get the vehicles into a format like .3ds or .max or something.

You mean the Animated/Drivable Skeletal Mesh vehicles, or the Static Mesh vehicles?

Static meshes are easy to do, just drop the static mesh in the middle of a blank level, and export it as an .OBJ.. then open in your perferred 3d app.

I personally haven't been able to ever export a skeletal mesh.. could you do that in UT2k4?

As for UTPT, realize OstFront's engine has been improved and various things changed to better suite RO. This means some apps may not run out-of-the-box. If you want UTPT support for Ostfront, you will have to ask the UTPT author to add it.
