We are still narrowing down the exact cause. We hope to have it identified by tomorrow (no eta on fix as that depends on what it is).

The public betas available for both the client and the sdk should be the same files as what is now released (tested that earlier today myself to be sure).

Further testing shows the problem is different from what we originally suspected, but it is a lesser problem.

Files marked as Friends only or Hidden will fail to download. Files set as public should work.

Did do the test with the package marked as public. RO2 can now indeed download the package.

Yes I found this out last night while testing. Also the first time or 2 times the game crashes after you download map from WS and try and play it. Happens everytime for me.

ok I can upload and download the candy land map so long as I keep it public

but all the textures are gone form the version that downloads

that very same version that is being uploaded and downloaded by ro2 if I put it on dropbox and get it from dropbox the textures are there

so what is going on

when I look at the file up upload and the file that it downloads it appears to truncate my file!

which steam workshop page incorrectly shows as 24.786 MB

downloaded using ro2 25,490 kb

wolf check to see if the map that you are uploading is different in size or different (use windiff like tool) to the one that it then downloads

my is different, it appears to be truncating it and may account why yours is crashing

I believe the maximum permitted file size for the steam workshop is 10MB.

What is the file size of the original map and what is the file size of the one downloaded over the steam workshop?

Maximum file size for RO 2 is 200 MB. For maps that go over that they should make a Collection.
