What the hell?!!

I read on different magazines that there wont be a censorship on the game if bought before march the 22nd. I bought killing floor in 2009 and today came an update. I started the game and there was a german interface but *surprise* no gibs, flying heads and so on. that makes the game boring.

yes me and my clan members all pre purchased it. and now that.. no gibs and that f...ing german voices. the german interface is ok but the voices are crap

Was that really necessary?

Do you know sacrifice?
It was one of the most brilliant, innovative (and overlooked) strategy games out there.
And guess what, the german voiceovers are just horribly, horribly bad, like 2 amateur voiceactors trying to be "funny" while the original was serious etc. and almost ruined the whole experience.
This comes close to that.

You know, b-movie-esque "So bad, it's good" does not equal shamelessly over the top bad.
Who do I have to contact/beat the **** out of so this stops?

Also I owners of the german version can't switch to english? Is that true?
If so, I pity the people who are stuck with this.
If not, well, it is fun to have this as an option so disregard this.

dude. yoshiro said KF will have english voices when you change your steam-language to english. just one post above yours.

and now it works to change the language like normal without changing the whole steam language. and the tip to change the engine file works too

I can change to german by changing steam.
I guess yoshiro neither lives in germany nor has the german version.

I think you have to set steam to English then it should work

Probably because the fix we mentioned already rolled out

Well, even before the fix my Killing Floor didn't update with german locales like the copy of my friend. I start Steam every day to play different games (including Killing Floor of course).

My friend's copy just updated without being launched, after that it was full german with censoring and all.

Wow I was shocked first. But TWI kept their word: guts 'n gibs in the German pre-22nd-Version if the language is changed to English. So, don't worry, just change the language of KF in Steam and you'll be fine.
