I don't think that the PzB39 was semi automatic.

Lexikon der Wehrmacht mentions a PzB41 which had an 8 round magazines and of which only 14 were built but doesn't mention if it's semi auto.

The only semi automatic at rifle (that goes beyond prototype status and works fine) I know is the Lathi39

How about this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solothurn_S-18/1000- I know, it's only wikipedia. But I'm sure Germans used Solothurn AT rifles during WW2. The question is: in what numbers?
It would be awesome if this rifle made it into the game even as a stationary weapon randomly located f.e. in foxholes, trenches, around objectives.

The Germans captured a lot of Russian AT rifles, they also had their own models of course. However by 1943 they were no longer issuing them to newly created units. Whether or not they continued to issue them to new units throughout 1942 I am not sure. But most German infanterie companies would have at least 1 PzB39, according the 1941 KStN each company should have 3. Often German units would use captured Russian AT rifles to shoot into the firing ports of Russian earthen bunkers. But we all know the AT rifles are useless against anything other than soft skin vehicles and the lightest of tanks right?

As long as you do not have to load individual shells and can just put in a mag that holds some bullets. A bolt action mechanism would do fine.

Stop spelling the name wrong! It's Lahti! Not Lathi!

But gotta admit... awesome to know that you have the last name for an anti-tank gun :D

I would rather say partially effective on infantry. Hard to hit them but when you do, you know they will never inflict damage on your fellow soldiers. :p

Tell that to Pavlov. Remember, this is Stalingrad, and you'll have Panzer III and IV's. And they did have thin enough armor to get penetration on the flanks and rear at close range. With crewmen being modeled as targets, this can get interesting.

He was firing from high up in a building, which allowed him to access the extremley weak top armour on the tanks' turrets.

Well, there isn't THAT much different between 10(top) and 20mm(rear) of armour for the PTRD. 30mm(sides) makes it interesting though. :IS2:

I'm referring to the Pz 4 btw.

I know. But it still shows the AT rifles can be useful. Pavlov himself took out almost a dozen tanks, according to Wikipedia. Said he started firing when they were within 25 meters.. With a little trig, assuming firing from the fourth story, I calculated about a 60 degree angle on the top armor, or 30 degrees on the front.
