However, I DO have a problem with stamina amount and movement speed. I have a hard time understanding why a veteran soldier would magically be able to move faster on the battlefield than a non veteran soldier. The idea of higher ranking players running around faster, no matter how dramatic it is, makes me cringe in a game like Red Orchestra.

The same goes for stamina -- why would a veteran have MORE stamina? These things don't seem realistic at all and I really hope the devs reconsider including them in the ranking system.


With fresh recruits on either side in desperate times i could understand them not being in 'ship-shape'. But if the difference from level 0 to max level is more then 10 % I fully agree.

Either way, everything else other then that looked superb. The grass in the beginning of movie one while prone with the Irons on the MG looked pretty.

Absolutely agree. A slight advantage of speed / stamina is fine with me. As long as it isn't a extremely noticeable difference. Because in a realistic sense, the difference between veterans / new recruits is usually quite obvious, imo.

Everything looked good. A much more complete game and should make it easier for new players to get started. Hope there are a bunch of Realism severs though.

Also, doesn't look like Firefight will be much of a game mode I will want to play with no class limits. Guess it is a complete bribe to get some COD players to buy the game.

Also, did anyone else notice the Soviet officer and two rifleman retreating in fear from the bridge at 2:08 in the second video as the invincible player advanced unharmed? It was awesome!

Pick up system and MG placing are my favorite bits.
They were my favorite pet hates in RO.

AI retreats at 2:10 in the second video. Holy hot dogs! AI looks leaps and bounds better in RO2, and this was on Recruit!

Pretty Sweet!

I'd echo that of others, I'm not a fan of leveling up in any way and the suppression looks pretty minimal, I'd like to see it increased.

I'm not criticizing as I realize it's not even in beta yet, just throwing my $.02 into the pool.

It's looking more polished than earlier vids, can't wait for release.
