Well a German Sturmpionier, would of had their allotment of Rifles, SMGs and MGs.
They would also carry smoke grenades and or a 2kg smoke pot (a larger hand emplaced smoke generator). These would generate smoke for about 2 to 4 min depending on the type.
In regard to explosives the Germans used a verity of charges. They had a
100g boring cartage
200g "demolition container"
1kg Demolition charge
3kg Demolition charge (similer in use to satchel charges but in a metal container)
10kg Demolition charge
3kg ball demolition charge (shaped like a ball)
7kg Satchel charge
11kg Satchel charge
3kg bangalore torpedo (section)
Pole charges often attached to 3kg demo charges.
And then theirs mines and the real big stuff. Never mind the flamethrowers.
