I found a GAZ-69 Russian Jeep in a Los Angeles Pick-a-Parts. First thing I thought was wtf???? Well anyways its in decent shape, nothing missing but it will need an off the frame restoration. Nothing I can't handle, it will be easy. It is a very simple vehicle. Unfortunatly I was only able to take two pictures. The first was of I think the voltage regulator, it was the only thing with some sort of idenification on it. Then the security gaurd told me no pictures so I snapped one more when he was not looking. Unfortunatly I only had my cell phone and it was far away. I went to the window and asked if it was for sale. The guy barely spoke english and said it was not. He could not explain why. I plan on calling them on the official number and asking about it. I will offer $500 or a trade. I don't see why they would be invested in keeping it. It's just rotting away in a corner. I think this must be one of a very few GAZ-69s in California, maybe the only one. I would appreciate if someone could decipher what this picture says and share any knowledge they have of this vehicle.
