Thanks!

Nice:
Multi Player Campaign: To expand on the 3 core game modes, there is an overall MP Campaign. In the Campaign, two sides can fight over the whole City of Stalingrad, divided into 10 Sectors. Each side starts owning 5 Sectors, with their strength represented by "Combat Strength". One side gets to vote to attack an enemy-held Sector, or to defend and force the enemy to attack. Defending can be risky - get it wrong and you lose a Sector - but may be necessary if you have taken heavy casualties. Each of the 10 Sectors is represented by one of the standard MP maps. Whichever side is attacking each turn gets to choose which game mode is played on each map. Whoever wins the map takes (or keeps, if defending) the Sector being fought over. But now, your casualties matter: your casualties are deducted from your side's Combat Strength. You will receive reinforcements dependent on the number of Sectors you now hold. Your Combat Strength is unlikely to go up - but you want to make sure the enemy loses strength quicker than you do! The winner of the map then gets to choose to attack or defend - so long as they have enough Combat Strength to attack at all!
One side will win if it takes all the Sectors; if both sides' Combat Strength is too low to attack, the side owning the most Sectors is the winner.

Stats fix targeted for "next few days". Nice

No mention of any gameplay issues except lockdown tweaks

Community reaction - mixed bag. There are enough people jumping up and down because of bugs to upset us, for sure. Which is why people here are still balls-to-the-wall on finding and fixing. But we'll clear those issues; we've always aimed to provide strong and long-lasting support for our games and RO2 won't be any exception to that pattern. And there are thousands of people playing the game online, so we're pleased with that. I think Red Orchestra has always provided people with gameplay that they either get hooked on for years - or is too far outside their comfort zone!

This is why I should not buy games at launch 90% of the time they are broken in today's gaming world

This guy has 11 posts per day, 272 posts since his joining date September 2011, and he didn't have a single nice thing to say about RO2.

I'm starting to think that it is his job to badmouth the game and troll the forums.

Is that from the game manual? It sounds pretty damn awesome to me. This is why I said in those 24/7 server complaint threads we don't have to worry. This mode will give the people who like variety what they want. Hell it even sounds like we might be getting to see some the maps played in new ways. Like making the Germans attack on Red October an see how they like it. :p

Now if only the stats were fixed an this mode was in the game.

Most people want the Lockdown gone, he says they're going to keep it, citing people "banging their head against a wall" when they can't breach a defence? I thought that was the bloody point of the game...to play it! He makes it sound like a job. Way to listen to the community guys...we buy it, we play it, you decide and tell us what we will and will not have.

Then the performance...tweaking the maps to raise the FPS...how about implementing a sound-engine that's worthy of anything other than contempt? Running sound through the CPU simply beggars belief. And they're sitting there wondering why people's rigs are stuttering and staggering?
