PC Game won't spawn me in

Just joined a game with someone else saying so on the voice/text chat. The game loads up, I can connect to a match, but I can't play. Waited to the interim thing where you go to the shop. No spawn. I rejoined a match and pressed the button for "ready", still nothing.

I personally have only just installed the game on Steam, I was on PS4 before.

Suddenly out of nowhere it happened again today.

Also all of my perks/exp had been set to 0. Which I got back when I restarted it.

The level 0 issue denotes a Steam connection issue. Make sure you have the best connection possible to play on Steam, avoid WIFI if possible.
The SQUADM menu name denotes something is wrong with your game files I think (either the actual files psychically or their loading process). Verify game files through Steam, and do a reset of the user folder for KF2 (delete folder My Documents/My Games/KillingFloor2/). Verify the mods you are subscribed to on the Workshop, outdated mods can break your game (unsubscribe from everything you're not sure, maps are all okay if they only contain custom map files).

I personally have only just installed the game on Steam, I was on PS4 before.

Saw another case like this on Steam forums - turns out the user never set up windows properly, such as timezone, location etc. Make sure you are using a legit copy of windows that has been properly tuned and updated before Steam was installed. Ive try to fix this problem for few days, in my situation i fix it by turn off Steam Beta in Steam options, the Steam restarted and after that, i run the game and my perks progress come back and when i connect to the server it been no more SQUADM on the screen, i see player list and in new wave - i connected to the game.
Problem was actual and fixed on 15 september of 2024.
