If we still hate the game in the future, trying out the game and giving it an honest opinion (which mine is its AWESOME) then twi should change stuff around to please us.
Poerisija;860761[U said:]Bayonets didn't have an effect on aiming in RO1 [/U]either. Injuries is something that would've been cool to have, I agree but still, it wasn't in ro1 either.
So no features have REALLY been removed. Yes, detachable bayo was neato, but a useless feature cos it had no downsides.
I don;t like the small things they've taken away though. Like the bayo's. )
Everyone? Since when? It's a limited class.Rare and experimental weapons for everyone.
How's that different from RO1? Which had no effects and no bandaging.Lack of effects from being wounded
You mean, being able to detatch your bayo? As bayonets are in the game.
Actually the MP40/2 and drum mags will be available for everyone who's max levelEveryone? Since when? It's a limited class.
If you got shot in the leg you couldn't move as fast. Shot in the hand? you couldn't aim as good anymoreHow's that different from RO1? Which had no effects and no bandaging.

As said by spindle, I think everyone can pick them. And even if only Assault classes could pick them, having such rare weapons available in such quantity between 64 people is just silly.Everyone? Since when? It's a limited class.

You couldn't move as fast for a few seconds, before it returned to normal. Just like bandaging - only now you can die from it.
I never really had any problem aiming after getting shot in the hand (in the unlikely event that it happened, and then I managed to pick up the gun I spilled onto the floor).
What about being forced to basically hobble (ok, walk really slowly)? Also you would drop your weapon if shot in the hand. Not that I was a big fan of those features, but they were there. How's that different from RO1? Which had no effects and no bandaging.
U don't like? U don't play. Many other toys around.
Game is okay, honestly nothing special. It certainly doest have the "magic" roost had.
Too simplified, lacks authenticity, too easy, bad design choices, etc. Worst of all it doesn't cater well to hardcore realism fans like roost did.
Personally I think this excitment will be short lived. Roost was fun because it was challenging and complex. Once the shineyness of ro2 wears off I think most of will realize it is a shallow game; lot of inital "wows" but no real substabce.
I will definitly rebuy this game during the inevitable steam summer sale, when the mods have come in and the children have all left for the newest gimmicky fps.
Ikr? ROOST just has this unexplainable feeling to it that makes it such a good game!
I do hope for the game to become much more like ROOST, and much less like Black Ops.
Yeah, I know, sorry but it does sometimes when some random guy you're aiming at while standing perfectly still just stop sprinting and shoot you in the face in less than 1millisecond.
Or when you get killed by some spraying semi/smg guy who didn't even need any skill to do so.

That's more of a positioning issue than an issue of them not using enough "skill" to kill you. If you place yourself in a position where they can just twitchshot you, then you should consider using cover more effectively.
That should atleast prevent them from "spraying".
If someone is able to aim at you in one millisecond he should win, because his reaction time is most likely unbeatable.
Spraying at you and maybe killing you (even behind cover) is a feature of the bullet penetration system and his ability to judge your position (or maybe luck) while he does not see you.
Both of your cases sound like it's the players ability, which gives him the advantage.
