[Crash] game crashing at server browser

Clicking on the refresh button and right afterwards on quick refresh (multiple times) fixes the problem for me. No crash and I'm able to join a server and play. Found this in another thread in general discussion.

I'm also getting the CTD at the Server Browser screen and also when I try to go Instant Action.

Just adding to the list. Server browser usually crashes when populating. If I attempt to interact with the mouse, it definitely crashes.

same happens to me. sometimes I can join a server just to see the crash message again. I'm like 1 second in game and then on my desktop.

Same for me the server list loaded, although the program seemed to be locking as it did. When loaded I could move my mouse around to select a server. I left it for about 10 minutes to get some lunch and it crashed.

This has worked for me and I havn't seen it posted yet.

I took a couple of times in the server browser to add as many likely servers to favourites as possible. Got maybe half a dozen.

Then start the game - go to multiplayer - then on the server browser switch to the favourites tab ASAP. Judging by the instant clearance of the jerky mouse this stops the browser update on all but the servers in your favourites. For the last three times of trying I can now enter in my own time any of the favourite servers I have listed.

Not ideal if you like to keep switching servers, but If you simply want to get in it seems to work.

Been using this all day and as long as I switch to saved favourites as soon as the browser window opens I have no problems at all.

Add me to the list..... tried the Steam file replacements and no change.... then again I already copied those over when I was having issues with RO1 and KF.

I do what others have suggested by quickly tossing my mouse to the top of the menu.... most times that works, other times I still crash.

Other than that, besides having to mess around with some graphics settings to play a bit smoother, I have no complaints or bugs for the beta.... oh wait there was one.... gonna post now if my screen shot took.

Same here, 6/6 failed, haven't been able to get past the server browser at all. None of the proposed workarounds make any difference. Latest crash dump attached.

same here. server browser immediately slow then game crash.

Exactly the same for me. Crashes in the server browser if I don't connect to a server immediately.

Also crashes sometimes while loading a game, and has crashed while on the side selection screen as soon as you enter the server.

And is very laggy in the server browser and the side selection bit.

I also get this issue. I got similar problems with Homefront but it never crashed it was just laggy as hell so it seems to be an Unreal engine problem.

I have tried leaving it to load but it still crashes every time.

Game keeps crashing...occasionally (very rarely), I manage to load a game...but then there is instant crash at welcome menu /

Game keeps crashing in serverbrowser for me aswell. From start and also when going into serverbrowser when on a server.

Made it bigger so people would notice, THIS WORKS PEOPLE.

Same problem. The above fix of going into Windowed mode before entering the server browser and returning to FullScreen after connected combined with never moving the mouse has worked for me to get me connected (still can't play but that is a separate bug).

tried moving/hidding the mouse...DIDNT WORK



EDIT:
Abondoning "full screen" worked for me..Was possible to go full screen when ingame.
Crashes if I open server browser...
