Hello, I was wondering if anyone could possibly help me with the problem of this game crashing my computer whenever I play it. Luckily the problem is not severe enough to where I can not play the game at all, instead the crashes normally happen ten to twenty minutes into me playing the game.

The crashes themselves happen seemingly at random, but when they do happen my monitor goes black and my pc would go into what I call 'overdrive'. Its fans blare up and it becomes completely unresponsive. In order to start the computer back up I have to turn the manual switch on the back off then back on.

This type of crash is not something I am unfamiliar with due to my computer not tolerating any physics effects above the lowest possible option in games. Normally all it took for me to stop the crashes like this from happening in the past is just turning off any extra physics options. All I can seem to do in this game is disable the hardware physics options however. But even after doing that the crashes have persisted.

My specs are:

Intel Core 2 Quad CPU
(Q6700 @2.66GHz 2.67 GHz)
4gb RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 (2x)

(Thanks for taking the time to read this/possibly help)

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

If that doesn't work, you could post a Launch.log of a time it crashed. At least you might be able to see from that what happened before the crash.

You can find it in:
Code:
documents\my games\RedOrchestra2\ROGame\Logs

Wait until next crash and then immediately get the Launch.log file, before running the game again.

I would like to apologize for the late reply, life has been keeping me pretty busy lately. But anyhow, I was actually able to play on a server for a solid hour Friday night while I was trying to get the game to crash for me again. Oddly enough exhaustion beat me from exiting the game before a crash could. I will try again tomorrow and let you know what happens.

(The server I played on was only Heroes of Stalingrad maps if that could mean anything)
