I think the issue is with the alpha maps going over the video background. Loading this many servers seriously cripples your gpu.

With my 5870 the fps go down to 3fps when obtaining the serverlist. TWI will probably look at this soon enough. Wasn't really an issue with the 4 beta servers ^^.

I think you're absolutely right, because when I limited the thing to show games with people in them and no empty servers and no full servers i got no crash then proceeded to play for about 4 hours straight with no hiccups. So maybe if they can make the serverlist cpu based and not gpu, and fix whatever memory leak is happening or something it shoudl be ok.

Unfortunately same problem here. Open serverbrowser or quick game both crash RO2. There is indeed something happening to cause slowdowns, maybe the serverbrowser is rendering like crazy.

The RO2 exe is listed as safe in my firewall. (It asks for every executable that tries to connect to the internet for the first time, i select "safe, never ask again.")

and now when I managed to join a server (well 5 servers to be precise) I get connection issues after about 10 seconds, wich leads to me having to disconnect.
So it's a "new" problem (atleast for me)

Same here. Sometimes I manage to do something strange (change filters, quick refresh) and the server list finishes loading, but 4 out of 5 times, the game crashes. I really hope they release a hot fix for this. :(

Nevertheless, I really enjoyed the half an hour I've been able to play. I love it! :)

You paid for the beta, and the unlocks. You should have been well aware that the beta would have bugs that could be of any kind.

I get this also. rogame.exe crashes in serverbrowser. The browser is laggy and controlling the mouse is nearly impossible then the the game crashes after a short while. My game also crashes to desktop when joining a full server. Alteast this is not random since it happens every the time ;) Beta is Beta

To avoid the server browser you can open up the console (Default `) and type 'connect <ip address>' if you know the IP of a ro2 server.

Disabling Steam Cloud and joining the server in Windowed mode seemed to do the trick for me! Haven't had a single problem with crashes since. Oh, and I disabled antivirus/firewall too just in case.
