Game causes computer to shut down in the middle of playing

What happens is exactly in the title. I'm doing fine then all of the sudden I hear hard drive chatter and my computer shuts off. Pretty frusterating.

are you overclocking your computer? could be overheating....

helps if you post your specs and if you have overclocked. and if you have probs running anything else.

It could be due to your power supply, if it is old and failing or if it is overloaded by your machine's contents.

The power supply is relatively new and my specs are:

Vid card - Radeon 8500 Series

Processor - Intel Pentium 4 2.66 GHz

Sound Card - SoundBlaster Live! Wave Device

Operating System - XP Home edition

Memory - 1024MB RAM

This is just after running dxdiag, if you guys need anything more specific I'll tool around in My Computer to check out the specifics. Also, this is the only game this happens with.
