It's not really about Nazi's, it more about the Werhmact...who were fighting for the Nazis

Yeah, there was nothing ideological about the war in the east

Anyways I had always heard the lack of swastika's was an issue with German laws, but sounds like that may not be the case.

Wrong, it became political, and so much more, with the events between 1934-1945.

But more importantly, I think someone should tell you: your signature might mean something, where you're from... but in english, it's total nonsense(?). Just wanted to let you know.

I think, to an extent, that's accurate. The Nazis invaded the Soviet Union, not the other way around. So the prominence of the Hammer and Sickle during the Stalingrad battles is more accurate imho. The Swastika is there, though.

Nope. German Swasticka is also rotated to differentiate it from the original. This particular one is a political symbol.

History is written by the victors, we all know that.
For the sake of profit, developers favor political correctness over historical correctness, I do not judge them for that, making money will bring patches and more TWI games for us all.
I think in the future, use of the swastika in games will increase.

I would like to see the Swastika is places where historically accurate. i.e Uniforms and Medals and banners.

Everything else like the German Logo should be the Balkenkreuz

Don't worry, within a week any public server you join will have you sitting at the loading screen downloading 500MB packs full of uniforms with correct markings, symbols, and other crap you probably won't care about. Just like in RO1!
