Catagory: animation.

Reproducibility: Always.

Summary: G41 wrong reloading animations when weapon is empty.

Description: If you reload your G41 when the weapon is completely empty, your character wil put into the rifle only one mauser clip instead of two.

I think this is good.

2 will be lengthy, and since you can't cancel reloading. 5 rounds a time seems like a good compromise.

Would make sense as well, in alot of situations ingame. When in combat, I always only reload 1 clip.

The problem is that if you reload only 1 clip, than you shouldn't be able to shoot 10 rouds... Quite obvious, i think.

Fixed in the next update. Also added an intelligent system that will grab single rounds from clips that are already not full stripper clips first. That way if you do a bunch of single bullet reloads, you won't end up with 7 clips that each have 1 or 2 rounds missing from them :) Instead it uses your partial clips first, then breaks a full clip if needed.

Wow I never new the reload system was so smart it counted rounds on stripper clips! Nice job!

I really like how smart the reloading is on the semi autos. Depending on situation, it can change the whole magazine (at least on SVT), use stripper clips, or insert single rounds. That amount of detail must be pretty unique in games like these.

Ramm, I've noticed an issue where upon shooting four rounds (not five, meaning 6 remain), the character will load a full stripper clip (animation-wise). I have not tested to see if the gun had 11 bullets in it. Has this been noticed/fixed?

Just thought I'd put attention to it.

Opening the bolt ejects another round.

+1 . One of the devs/moderators (I cant remember which) said that they even went into that kind of detail. Also happens with bolt action rifles, if you shoot once itll load two shots because you shoot one, then when you reload it ejects the next and will load two more shots.

Is this suposed to happen with the Mosin-Nagant too or only with the Kar98? Because the soviet rifle only reloads one bullet after shoot/bolt/reload, while the german reloads two.

Also, it's always better to not actuate the bolt of the rifle after firing if you intended to reload right after shooting, you'll save some time and bullets.
