I'll admit i was expecting more updates. I was expecting atleast 8/10 perks by now so they could balance them too each other, and yet here we are and not even 1 new one...

Sorry that you guys feel that way. As a rule of thumb, I wouldn't really get into any Early Access at all if you need regular or frequent content updates, or if you feel like you'll get burnt out on what is available and don't have other games to play in the meantime.
I knew the latter could be a problem for me, but I've just dealt with it by making sure I don't play enough to get burnt out until the new content gets here. I could recommend some stuff to you guys? I've been playing a lot of Borderlands The Pre-Sequel and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate while I wait for the firebug/demo update, and both of those games are great.

i dont get why these posts keep getting made. yes, it would be nice if content got out faster and yes the current amount of content has gotten stale. But you know theres a very large patch coming soon; *****ing and moaning probably wont do much in bringing that patch, or even patches down the line, any faster.
Because complaining is the only thing left to do with KF2. All available content has been played and got burnt out. All feedback has been given. But people like me who got used to check out KF forums on daily basis have nothing else to say except posting their frustrations again and again.
I know it is bad habit but I can't get rid of it. First thing that I'm doing after turning on PC is checking email, news and KF forums... every day

Eh this thread seems more like a v1.01 if you ask me.
I typically go play something else, and then start playing more Killing Floor 2. And by play more I mean like put another 10 hours into it because the game is a lot of fun to me.

I am pretty excited and impatient about this myself, as since I played KF1 to death I wanted a new graphically amazing KF2. Since Rising Storm came out, it cemented that idea in my head as I wanted to use that gorgeous flamethrower in a more...free setting (Less realistic fuel usage, not being targeted and killed a lot). Basically to be a classic FPS action man with that flamethrower.
Seriously, it's my favourite gun ever! It's what I had in mind as soon as I heard KF2 was a thing.
Point is, this particular update is something I have wanted to play for a long, long time. Not that I think they have definitely boosted fire FX, nothing has been said so I doubt it, but I want firebug all the same. I want this update bad.
On the subject of it taking a good few months, I used to be so impatient about games in general. Bought them on release day a lot of the time. Now, when I hear a game I want has been delayed for 6 months or a year, I am happy! It reminds me of one thing:
They want quality.
I much prefer the idea that they are doing everything they can and adding everything they want to add, and not buckling to pressure to do otherwise. Especially with this particular update, most likely my favourite update until full release, I am glad they are taking the time to do as much as they can.
As for where this leaves future updates, it is not related as far as I can say. Being the first update is a big difference, it's stepping into new territory. I know I could be totally wrong with how it works, but my guess is they will get more and more comfortable with the development as they spend more time doing it, and subsequent updates will probably come faster as a result (KF1's first update was a good few months like this one, the next one was 1 month quicker I think, and so on).
Wall of text aside, all I'm saying is I am as excited as the most impatient among you, but there are too many factors at play to chalk it up to something that can be altered for our convenience! Also keep in mind the benefits of any work where extra time is put in. Quality!

I have posted that TWI could issue refunds for the impatient/upset customers. I have a better idea. They could send out gift copies (just 1 game)of some of their older catalog to early access supporters. Get people to play some of the titles they may have missed out on and look like good chaps to boot! They need to do something. Every time i see a kf2 thread popping up on the net it does not go well. Interested players are encouraged to wait or are bombarded with commentary about the slow development cycle. Tripwire really needs to do something to counter balance the anti-hype about kf2. Well...."The Forest" is the most frequently patched EA by devs i have come across yet. KF2 is not even 5 % like it... Not even 1 %?

We could maybe start organizing KF1 and KF2 games or other games even, as a community? Find stuff to do? I dunno, I'm feeling like I should find a group of people to play such things with myself. Could occupy people's time and make waiting all the more bearable.

This kind of things reminds me of the good old times of sacrificial worshipping, just praize the gods, throw your own people into the sacrificial fire or rip their heart out!!
But then... if you don't get what you wanted IMMEDIATLY (holy fires don't grow on trees ya know) burn the idols and their temples to the ground! They are careless deities who deserve nothing but hatred! How can they dare to take their time to work on a huge update with not only ONE but TWO new classes! Burn dictators! Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurrrnnnnn!!! (it is irony if you didn't get it by now) Many of those guys won't last that long on the game after full release if they need new stuff every week (day?) to keep them entertained...
