I am repeating what all the competitors I know have told me.

Also, I quit this tournament because you called me a moron for not understanding reddit. Also, and as Blockbot said, our teammates were kind of asynchronic, couldn't really expect anything concrete from this setup.

Are you talking about how I got pissed off at you for insulting me because you didn't pay enough attention to the posts? I suggest you refer to your chat log. :)

Amber Glass. experience and fun is out of the picture when you have people with 300ping on your team, one who disconects every five minutes because of a corrupt game files. It just kills it?!?

topping that. when I try to find a solution on my problems and ask VIGIL about help for some solutions, I get told "to shut up". the fun, friendly tournament isn't fun nor friendly anymore.

but I still keep on and trying the best I can so my teamates can still have a fun time, (cuz they don't know anything about VIGIL beeing unfair and unfriendly.)

and for a further topping. since nearly day one of the tournament I've gotten complaints from friends who joined other squads on KF tourney, which have just worsen the last couple of days. (then we are talking about VIGIL threatened someone to get discualified only because he think that the recording round 1, was a bad Idea)

so VIGIL if this "****" that happend to you last weekend was so bad. why dont you just let someone else takeover or just postpone it to a later date where your own personal problems are gone? its not healthy trying fix personal matters at the same time holding a tournament for 200+ people.

ofc he is mad. that is how someone reacts when threated like ****.
Holy crap you guys feel entitled. I've helped MANY people with the issues coming up... you two are the ones that simply prefer to complain rather than offer to help with solutions to your issues. It's inevitable that people like you will be a part of it, and I'm sorry that you can't solve your scheduling issues. I can't summon players in your region. I've had plenty of chats with you where I helped your problems, and I don't even know what you're talking about.

That "threat of disqualification" was for someone insulting and trying to mess with me about the workings of the tournament. It's not constructive to simply insult and offer no solution and THREATEN ME with trying to piss off the other players over nothing... kind of exactly like what you're doing.

Did you even read my post? I DID sort of postpone the round, and allowed the option of demo recording for round 1. I was faced with an issue and came up with a solution, rather than simply whining about it.

I'm doing this tourney with absolutely nothing in return for my efforts, so kindly piss off with your nonconstructive whining. So it doesn't go perfectly for you- get over it, it's going great for plenty and you're a victim of your own confirmation bias. It's not a problem for me to stay friendly, but I don't respond well to the few players that are consistently *****ing me out.

There's a difference between aggressive talking and outright insulting people.

If beniox wasn't banned, he'd have something to say too about that.

Next time, keep your "friendship" at reddit's door, we outsiders have hard time getting along.

The negative ones are always the most vocal. I'm sorry, but you and your team's experience just doesn't line up with everyone else's. You couldn't handle a team yourself and I can't micromanage every team, so you got really pissed off. You couldn't deal with it, so you insulted me, and I reacted. If you had spent less time jerkin it about your issues to each other and coming up with solutions like the other teams you probably wouldn't be in this position.

Blockbot already explained why you're plain wrong with this.

And what's with that sentence ?

The negative ones are always the most vocal.

Well you couldn't try to censor me not blockbot with your disqualification threats since we pulled ourselves out...

On the other hand, I have yet to see someone say he enjoys what is being done on this forum.

Oh and finally, I didn't insult you. I was rude and probably stupidly whiney at most, but I didn't insult you. I stopped trying to find a solution when the word "moron" appeared in my chat box. What I saw on beniox's chat dupe he sent me also shocked me a little, aswell as everyone who's seen it, including people like Gibby, which I believe, represent an objective view of the situation.

But hey you know what ? I am not trying to convince people to leave the tournament or anything, they can get that kind of opinion themselves, and if you look closely, I even tried to give a little help by insisting on poosh's saying that you needed assistants.

If you still want to discuss about our differend, we should take this to PM's before it starts to get sore and all.

The majority of the participants don't use this forum, silly. Again, negative ones are most vocal - by far people have been pleased. With ~260 players, of course there's going to be some that are butthurt. No helping it. :p

The judges are not the issue. People being allowed to choose times whenever they want is the issue. And freedom in general - it's a hindrance to progress.

you power hungry nazi bastard. I'm not at all surprised that you would say something like this, when you take into account how you manage this tournament in the first place, not to mention your constant stream of pretentious posts on the killing floor subreddit.

Cute, but it just shows how little experience you have in any role where you need to organize people. The more freedom the players have to choose when to play and how to deal with their teams, the less likely they are to get anywhere. Please be aware of the context of what I was talking about: organizing a Killing Floor tournament. This is not a political statement.

As always, your... contribution... is amusing.

Woah there! I was talking about organizing the tournament. It actually does hinder the progress of the teams by giving them too much freedom of choice. It's a common phenomenon apparently!

I don't know what I did to rustle your jimmies, but can you explain your crazy insults a bit more? Seems to me like I gave the subreddit a nice facelift and worked on organizing a free tournament with no benefit to myself, while advertising for the KF subreddit in many different areas. What about the management do you disagree with? Is it the matchmaking that tried to include anyone who wanted to play but didn't have a team to play with? You sound like you have a personal grudge. Where is the power hunger or the pretentiousness? Or calling me a fascist? Which is silly, because I'm libertarian. :)

This tournament is a learning experience really, and I've learned quite a bit! So yeah, there have been some mistakes, some do-overs, and the like. It's just going to make the next one that much better. But all this negativity is kind of discouraging, even when I remember that the angry ones are always the loudest, and the many pleased are silent.

I can't organize people you say? its funny how I can hold my job then.

anyways, just tell them if they don't finish by a certain date. they will be removed from the tournament. that would be fair for both you and them. because I believe you don't want to use rest of the year with this tournament, and if they don't finish by that date it just shows they aren't really interested in taking part in the whole tournament thingy.

its just the same with homework children!! :p if you don't do your homework it just show your teacher you don't want a life after your finished with school

This is not a political statement.

dude how could I've not misunderstood you xD
