Yeah, yeah, you hate fragwhoring zerks. We get it. If there was a town inhabited by fragwhoring zerks, you would like to bomb it with napalm and watch them burn for a very long period of time due to their damage reduction. That would teach'em to steal your kills. Yeah.
Nope. I've stated many times, do search if you like, that I don't believe there is a such a thing as kill stealing. I believe in everyone shooting everything they can as far away as they can. But what I am talking about isn't KSing.
It is someone playing extremely recklessly and, in order for the team to survive, forcing the team to support that reckless behavior. Many zerkers, and the occasional support, will play way, way, WAY in front of the team to get every possible kill for them. The team, by default and for survival, are no longer playing the best strategy
for the team and now,
for survival have to pay attention to the yahoo a ways away and have to keep him alive. Because if that support or zerker dies, there goes one of, if not the, heavy hitter of the team and if it is a later wave, losing that perk will probably screw over the team.
So no, I don't care about the kills, but I care about that player basically holding the rest of the team hostage while he plays the game the ways HE wants to play.
I know I'm selectively quoting. But we're playing Killing Floor. The most realistic (pronounced "ral-istic") game ever.
I understand your point, but I think there is a line between specimens and a giant Patty and the selective effectiveness of an full drum of AA12 shells going around and through another player.
