Friendly Fire Servers

Does anyone else think that friendly fire servers seem to be filled with jerks and griefers? I ended up on one yesterday and it was the dumbest, most infuriationg thing I've ever seen.

Last 2 times I ended up in a friendly fire server I found medics farming heals off people by shooting them, then killing you if you complain, and your whole team turning on you and killing you if you go demo and save them with a nade volley that didn't even hurt anybody.

Should I really just be avoiding these places all together? Problem is the second one wasn't even labeled as friendly fire.

Yea, all I can say that Friendly fire and Killing floor do not mix.
The challenge is not avoiding friendly fire, the challenge is enduring the griefers and kids who can't stand being accidentally hit in crossfire.

joke aside, i play mostly on DSASS-friendlyfire 70% server and i enjoy it much more than those without FF. There is a nice crowd sometimes around i like to play with. FF works very well.

only every now and then hops somebody in who doesnt realise that FF is on or who can't learn how to play with it. but they get kicked/banned after some tks fortunatly.

I was expecting rage about people being unable to aim. This wasn't a doom server by any chance was it? Because that's a boring map to be medic for, assuming teammates are doing their jobs. And if that's the case, you don't really need to be on doom. :\

Finding one or two ff servers to play in that have a "usual" group of players would probably be best. I'm surprised it wasn't labeled as FF though.

It was a stock maps suicidal server. It's almost impossible for me to find a populated suicidal server with ping less than 100 that ISN'T Doom, so I join every one I can find. But this one was just full of a bunch of morons who want to ruin my game experience when I did nothing to make theirs more difficult. It wasn't until after they had killed me and ridiculed me over voip that I got really mad and started shooting the guy that killed me. The whole team wiped on the next wave anyway, but I was nowhere near it.

Doom + Friendly Fire = hilarity. If my friend invites me to play on an FF server, I just wait outside and solo stuff out of fear of actually dying inside.

I think everyone here know how a game will end with Friendly Fire settings if there's an Demolition in it..

The Demolition perk is WAY underpowered when there's FF on..

I did not make the game instantly impossible by going Demo. I can be very conscious of where my nades are going if I pay attention. I just have to avoid shooting stuff that's close to my team and then everything is fine. I'm no more dangerous to my team with a grenade launcher than a Support with an AA12 or a Hunting Shotgun spamming a Fleshound that's currently beating on somebody. He's just as likely to hit the guy he's saving as the Fleshpound he's aiming for. But of course no one ever kicks Supports from friendly fire servers.

I remember there is a time I play in 100% ff server with a level 6 commando in farm, I was leveling medic that time as level 5, which he one shot kill me in the head with 100 armor by accident as I try to heal him with syringe.

That make me laugh my *** off, after that he said "sorry"

And another funny story with revenge ff server, I killed a man in accident which I get revenged by mut too.

I like ff, but as I play suicidal, there was one zerker that kept dancing around in front of me while I was using a shotgun. I finally got him with a hunting shotgun blast when I was trying for a husk, that he suddenly decided to swing over and try to decap it.

Moral of the story, don't walk in front of someone that is using shotguns.

FF servers can be really fun when people know what they're doing and know that they're joining a FF server. I've run into one griefer and that was months ago.
