[Error] Freezing

this Freezing is not caused by alt-tab...

just appear in game playing, even not hard situation to my CPU, RAM and GPU.. even in standing on respawn area, freezing is appear.

uh... it seems to that when i push some keys (w, a ,s ,d or some others),
then freezing is came up.

I have not bad computer.

I5 460 cpu
Radeon 5870 / 1gb ddr5
4gb RAM


why this freezing not disappear by any of my efforts?

unabled steam cloud or resetup OS, adjust option to lowest....

please~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ help me ;(

hi, i have the same problem, my pc is good too

i7 950
6GB DDR3
Radeon HD 5850

I could play for like from 20 min to 1h and then every time my PC freezes.
I always have to reboot.

yes and i heard that 'only radeon 5xxx or 6xxx users have this Freezing...

neither not 'alt-tab' freezing and 'must re-boot' freezing...

Nope, I get it too with a GTX470.


Do any of you who are freezing have a Realtek onboard sound solution?

problems are realteck and PB servers. I dont know wha
t to do. My PC crash in PB servers

If you have Realtek onboard sound and windows 7 or Vista try the following..

Uninstall the Realtek audio drivers and then reboot your machine. Windows will install some default drivers. Try playing and see if the crash has gone

It helps for some people and not for others. If it doesn't work for you there are two more options....

1. Don't play on punkbuster servers = fixed.

2. Buy a soundcard = fixed.
