Ok I've had this issue before when I was trying to play on a wireless. Basically, seemingly randomly (but about every 30 seconds), the game freezes my character and sorta shakes for a few seconds. It makes it basically unplayable. I'm only on a wireless for a week, but I still need my RO fix and would like to be able to get around this. Any ideas? I've heard it has something to do with the unreal engine. Same issue in DH btw.

thx

If I'm not mistaken, it is an O/S issue rather than a UT problem.
One of the O/S's (Vista?) has a network setting that may need to be changed. I've read a topic about on that somewhere......but I don't remember where...sorry.

The problem is probably to do with Windows Zero Configuration checking for wireless networks every minute. The "solution" in XP is to use the network card supplier's wireless client and disable Windows Zero Configuration. On Vista / 7 it's a bit hit and miss, you can try to use either Vista Anti-Lag (http://www.codecase.de/en/software/downloads/file/18-val-v1-1-1-setup) or WLAN Optimizer (http://www.martin-majowski.de/wlanoptimizer/).

Also you might have to tick the "streaming mode" option in WLAN optimizer.

And I've moved this into the correct forum.

On XP you can't enable it. If you're using XP though you should be able to just use the third party wireless config program and then just make sure that zero wireless configuration is disabled in the windows services.
