Was told about this game a while ago, but didn't bother to try it. However, was bored the other day, so installed it. Its actually pretty good, like BF2 but free, and imo, is actually better, not everyone uses vehicles like on BF2, so infantry combat does happen. And theres infantry only maps, aswell as the usuall BF2 style vehicle and infantry maps.

I played it when it first came beta about year n half ago, it was CRAP!

Then played it other week and its improved alot.

shame that when i try n play it says it cant find a .zip file

The game is very laggy, yes. For example, you could shoot someone with the sniper rifle, and kill him with a head shot without him seeing you, then suddenly the scoreboard shows that you have both shot each other at the same time, which shows just how laggy this game is.

But apart from that, its a pretty good game, not a scratch on RO, but nonetheless, a good fun game.

I hated this game. The graphics were reminiscent of BF1942, actually, everything was. Don't even bother with the vehicle maps, since the lag makes tank combat and air combat virtually impossible.

Sadly, this game did the effect tanks have on infantry better than RO does. You can hear tanks well before you see them, and the screen shakes when they're close. Hint.

I'm downloading now, is it suppose to be one huge battlefield? it says its massively multiplayer but then it says there are different maps. Do thousands of people fight over one map at a time?

It's a watered down version of BF2 with smaller maps and gayer guns.

Wow lowest ping server I could find for combined arms maps and it lags like HELL. I got on the dirt bike and attempted to go up a hill, I died instantly and my bike kept driving up it.

Isnt it that silly game which combines RPG elements like the higher your rank the better your armour and weapons so all new-comers are being eaten alive?

I find it a wonderful idea to award players that play during a longer period.. you receive money from your points, wich you can spend on various guns.

I was just forced to make a new account for this game because for some reason all my friends are obsessed with it. So right now I'm level 1, but I'm not having any trouble at all. The only people that pose a problem on this game are insta-proners and ladder campers. Unsuprisingly the game hasn't improved the last time I played. The people don't speak korean anymore, but the sounds they use now sound like they were ripped from various sources. For instance "Let's move out!" sounds like it was stolen from the Black Hawk Down movie. Vehicles still lag, and the planes' flight controls are a joke.

hmmm...I feel quite the opposite....remember emptying a clip and half on a guy who simpely refused to die because he had better armour.
I find it wonderful that when you are being owned you know its because the other player is more skillful than you or use smarter tactics or better team work, just like it is in RO.

hell, if I wanted to be in a system which awards players just for being there longer, almost any odd real life job will do.

It just to arcade. And i hate those small flys that fly over you with tank armor and nukes vehicle armor system is ****ed up every vehicle in the game has tank armor and anti tank rockets and RPGs are just pitifull. Snipers r overpowered to.
