Ok I enthusiastically started off by pumping all the graphics up to full & firing externally AA x2 & AF x4 - FPS was averaging around 15-25 & dipping as low as 10.
So decided to take off the AA & AF a set most of the options like texutres down to medium level, this increased my average to around 25-35 but still dipping as low as 10 :-(
Even when I switch everything to minimum I'm still gtting the occasional slow down, even though fps average is around 35-40 - just game looks unsurprisingly poor with detail all off ;-\
My rig is as follows

M/Board = Gigabyte GA-K8NMF-9
GFX Card = Gigabyte 7800GT
CPU = Athlon 64 3200
Ram - 1.5 Gig PC3200
Monitor - BenQ FP931 19"

Don't misunderstand I'm totally in love with ROOST, just want to play it a little smoother :-0

P.s I have already tried out all the little tweaks for increasing fps I have found on these forums.

Your not alone m8 same here hurts to play when the fps goes below 25.

Which would you rather play the game on the left with a crappy framerate or the game on the right side with a solid 125fps 99% of the time?

I testes somethink related on drivers in my Catalyst Thread.

5.11 gives me +10 Frames than 5.12 oder 6.12,6.13 !!

Pushing Cache from 32 to 64 or 256,512 -) No better results.
