I'm curious what different people find as a decent fps, i.e one that does not put you at a disadvantage.

So what is the lowest fps you would play RO2 with? (during frenetic fights & smoke)

Normally i'd say anything over 20 is fine. 40 - 60 is perfect. Anything above 60 is a waste. Below 20 and you are at a disadvantage.

I am currently between 30-40 which at this moment is fine for me, just waiting for TW to do some more optimilization.

once the game is finished I will try some personal tweaking if I see the need, at this moment I think it is more important for TW to polish the game

I wouldnt play any FPS game below 60 FPS. Its not about "seeing" the difference, its all about "feeling" it, for example when you need to aim quick and so forth. So ... not a framerate below 60, 100 prefered.

Aaaaaaaaaaand, within 1hr some idiot is gonna make the remark the human eye cant see more than 30 FPS.

I average on 45 fps, and it is perfect for me, I have played with 100 fps and I really did not feel any different, meh...maybe it is just me since I used to play a ****ty PC from Fujitsu Siemens until 2010, so bad it lagged heavily in Warcraft 3

I now have quite a good one, only thing limiting it is my 4 GB of RAM, but I only notice it when I play Blitzkrieg mod for Company of Heroes (best mod ever) because it is insanely RAM heavy

Also I have been noticing people comparing graphic cards like they are their penises or something on the Tripwire servers...People need to stop doing that in the chat

Anything above 40 is fine for me. Anything less than that and I start noticing lag and intense firefights get really annoying. I currently play RO2 at 65fps which is pretty great.

Yup, 60+ here as well. Otherwise it just feels weird. I'm fine with going as low as 30-40 in SP games, but even there I prefer it to be higher.

I'd rather have a smooth gameplay with high fps than having better graphics with lower fps

My monitor runs at 66hz(forced), so min 66fps. On a 100hz monitor show me video without telling me what its running and I will tell you what FPS they are running all they way up to 100fps. After 100hz/fps its hard to tell.

Quite satisfied with 40-60. At the end of the day I'm engrossed playing the game, couldn't give a crap about the FPS unless it is critically low (<25/30) and making it difficult.

Really I feel if you're that bothered by the fps you really aren't enjoying the game that much.

Above 60fps is pointless so i always limit games to 60 to not overstress the card, but if the fps drops below 45fps then it becomes annoying.
