FPS Question

I'm just curious if this game has a client-side setting to increase the max FPS you can run at? I know in many other games (CoD series for instance), where you could type in console a command like: com_maxfps XXX, where the XXX represents the max FPS you want your machine to render the game at.

Is there such a command in RO2? I run at a constant 63 FPS no matter where I set my gfx settings so I wondered if the game is internally capped somewhere? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

the second last option in video settings,i cant remember what it was,framerate smoothing? that one is the fps cap setting. unchecking that box will disable the cap.

though i dont know if there's a console command for that

Its not capped. I run at anywhere between 50 and 80 fps.
Like the previous poster suggested, uncheck frame rate smoothing and vsync.

You can set the max smoothed framerate higher in the config without unticking framreate smotthing
