Mac Fps Drop -Mac

Have you tried contacting Steam Support? Have you also tried to verify your cache and reinstall KF?

It might. Maybe the doors didn't get installed correctly like every other file, causing it to bug out and mess with your FPS whenever you weld it. Give verifying a try. Worst Case scenario is that nothing changes

Framerate drop on high end machine
Framerate drop on high end machine
I have the same issue. Been playing the Windows version on Bootcamp on highest settings/ vertical sync/ enhanced buffering/ 1920x1080 at around 100fps. Installed the Mac version, cut the quality down to medium/ Vsync off/ still 1920x1080 and I experience drastic drop on fps whenever there are a lot of enemies (15-20). Makes the game unplayable waves 5+.
Exacerbated by Sirens and using the xbow scope, which are both graphical events, making me think its something with the game. Neither of these occur on the windows client.

ATI 6750 1GB vram
12GB 1333 ram
Samsung 6 GB/s SSD (separate SSD for each Mac and Bootcamp)
Disk check, permissions check, file structure check (disk warrior), cleared main and user caches, checked file integrity of game, deleted and reinstalled game

im running 2.3Ghz intel core I7 with 8G 1333 MHz DDR3 RAM and a Intel HD graphics 4000 384MB card. It runs smooth for me with no drops in fps ever. the only problems are the regular ones with KF operating on a mac
