FPS Boost for Radeon Cards

There is this programed called radeonpro and what is doesnt is it lets you change the grahics in the program so it looks better in game than it could with the regular settings.


i was getting about 10fps on LOW then ii saw radeonpro i might as well try it so ii tryed it and then 60FPS on ultra and i got rid of texture pop-in,got better graphics,ETC.

How did you manage to go from 10 FPS on Low to 60 FPS on Ultra just using radeon pro? Did you change any special parameter..?

That's fine and all, but i don't use crossfire, i only have one graphics card.

no but i think it sealed the peformance leaks since i have a I7,radeon6950,6g ram,and 1tb hard drive so i should not be getting 10fps

umm should't the 2 GB of vram do it, for FPS. I got dual 4 GB Radeon 6990. And I got 90 to 110 Fps, plus I got a I7 2600k OC 5.1 Mother Board ASUS Rampage III.

would be helpful if you told us what settings you changed to gain that much fps.

Well if radeon pro is just a profile manager that seems to include a ro2 profile ,...
It would be beneficial to post the settings for the card in the ro2 profile , here
So that way we could test it by manually changing the settings without even having to download a profile manager,.....no?

Thank you, please do. I know radeonpro helped a lot since I have a crossfire setup but I'm curious as to what settings you messed with to get increased performance cause maybe I can still squeeze more fps out of my setup, I'm pretty sure I should be able to.

I'll say the same as I did in the original thread two weeks ago: Unreal Tournament 3 profile and forcing alternate frame rendering gives me at least a third more FPS using Crossfire. Personally, I also find that forcing 24x AA gives me much smoother frame rates than either having AA off or using the in game version.

I seem to get better FPS with no profile selected, I tried the UT3 profile and it was slightly slower. 24x AA seriously gave an fps boost? That's a lot of AA lol

just watch out what you tweak guys.

I went from CCC 11.6 --> 11.9 and I get an extra few fps ( probably 10 - 15 ). However Now the weapon selection screen doesnt work so I have to play with russian gear as germans and vice versa. I now also get the IS out of line bug.

that extra 15 fps, completely not worth it...

Isn't the weapon select screen issue from forcing different Anti Aliasing outside of the game instead of using the games version of AA? I'm pretty sure I read that was the cause of that issue.

The weapon screen and all options screens (aside from video options) not showing up is no bother to me. I've learned to listen for the clicks of the selections I make and adjust up or down accordingly to get what weapon I want. The rest of the options, I settled my tweaking less than a week after the game was released and did most of that via the config file.

For me, extra frames, better appearance, and smoother gameplay takes precedence over convenience any day.

By that math, if I get 60 fps on high then I should get over 9000 fps on super ultra mega war movie delux: extra cheesy edition, with radeon pro.
