stupid question here....I have BF2 uninstalled right now so can I just get the new patch and be completely updated or do I need to the 1.41 and then the 1.50?
My internet connection is shat so I need to get the correct files the first time around thanks.

ah crap that is what I feared :(
My FH2 torrent is going really slow though at the moment maybe by tomorrow I can actually play everything after downloading around 3 + gigs of stuff.

On sky now since I moved flat, they dont have a cap thankfully but the area I'm in is rubbish my fastest dl speed is 300kb/s, but its better than last year dipped up and down from 10kb/s to 1Mb/s for no reason, peak or off peak.

Good new though just found the 1.5 patch on my hard drive, thought I got rid of it when I formatted but it must have been downloaded after that.

Great another trailer makes my download seem even slower waiting...I still need the friggin BF2 patches along with this:(

They used this same music before in a trailer right?

Dont know if that music has been used before tbh.

I never get excited about game/mod releases anymore but I feel like I did when waiting on the DoD mod MG patch all those years ago.

Ah buggar, guess who's been downloading the 2.15 version instead of 2.2 :(

Got to 63.1% before I noticed. Word of warning they havn't updated their download page with the newest torrent, just the front page...grrr....

The flamethrower class in the previous trailer looked pretty sweet (please TWI, pretty please :D)

Unfortunately I dont own BF2 and I've committed to never giving EA another penny, so I'm out on this one.

It goes for 10$ now, worth buying for PR and FH2 imo :p

With my d/l speed I have to wait till tomorow to play. Damn I miss my old ISP but there is only sh*tinet available here.

I'm with you on that Rez but this may be one time they deserve 10 bucks. Adding no cd check and both expansions for free after four years is pretty admirable. Yet, on the other hand, they never really fixed some pretty awful bugs in all that time. Eh, I'm glad I got it 4 years ago as I'd be in your position now.

I would really like to play this game, unfortunately I'll have to buy Battlfield2 again.
I was out with the wife today I looked all over town and to my surprise, I could not find one retail copy so could someone recommend a good site to buy it. I'd like to be able to dl it right away and I can't seem to find it at direct2drive.

I got BF2 off EA's site, decent download speed.

Right now I'm having a problem logging into BF2 tho. Noone else is having the problem so its prob my ISP.
