Slight errors aside those are some of the best looking player models/uniforms I've seen in awhile.

As far as gameplay, I liked having planes again and artillery that you manually have to aim and coordinate with teammates. The infantry combat was okay.

The tank combat sucks compared to Red Orchestra though. It's very arcadey.

Overall, it's okay, but not something that outdoes RO's gameplay.

Yes only the vanilla BF2is needed. At the moment they have a release out but its all North Africa and is slowly dieing because people realised that theatre lacks alot of the cool ****. They have been working on Normandy for a long time now and hopefull we will see this release by christmas.

I personally cannot stand realistically portrayed Africa campaigns. Too much open, barren brown landscape and not enough urban maps. Even then the urban areas all the look the same and do not offer much in the way of variety.

It does have its advantages for large tank battles.

*Yawn*

Why not get the chessboard out while were at it? :p

Definitely not for me.

I'll keep an open mind for a new Mare Nostrum but previous attempts have failed to stir my soul.

Your right, playing on large open brown maps can get very boring so I'm really looking forward to the great green grass of Normandy.

Next up I hope we get to see more whites.

Wow I had forgotten all about FH :p

I spent more time playing the original FH then any other game, perhaps all games combined. I know how the rest of my weekend is going to be spent :D
