The real issue here is not the games hit detection. It works fine if you have a stable internet connection and the ping stays under 150. I play 2fg all the time and leading for lag is a breeze for me and I hover around 120. @ issue here is your ****ty internet connections. No game no matter what style hit detection is going to work right when your ping is over 150+. Seriously?

I guess with COD and BF many people have become accustomed to the clientside hit detection and clientside server model that always produces ****ty pings and ****ty performance. You want a good game without all the bull**** you cry about? Host a server near you and populate it with friends. I'm sure you can find enough people in a 1500mile radius to populate a server. and get sub 80ping for everyone.

I find the bullet lag to be a bit too much with anything over an 80 ping. I'm not saying I can't adjust for it, but it makes the game less fun.

RO2 has a problem with keeping pings low when you get 30+ people in the server. I may have a ping of 40 @ an empty server, but when it's 32/32 it will probably be around 100.

And I can assure you it's not because of "my s***ty internet".

Lastly, this game doesn't have a sufficient amount of players to just up and host new servers and expect them to fill.

Also, why are you raging?

Here you go folks, our genius The Cook just solved our problem. Now everyone start searching for potential RO players in 1500 mile radius. Put up radio ads, flyers, anything to reach those "enough people". We know they're out there. Also start saving for that beefy new server of yours, RO2 experience is totally worth it.

Stop whining, get working!

Wow seriously? We got this amazing thing called the internet, and most gaming companies make this thing called forums that people who are interested in their game can exchange ideas on and leave messages for each other. Then we also have this neat thing called Voice over IP. I'm sure if someone posted a "Message" on one of these forums stating a date and time that a server is going to be hosting and players will be on It would not be that hard to organize something like say if 7cav decided that on thursday night @ 8:00pm pst next week they will guarantee 10 members on their server......

Which is something I'm going to go suggest to them now that you mentioned it. Keep on mouthbreathing it works for you =)

we're real happy for you and your "stable" internet connection. we're also really happy that you have lots of players nearby to be able to play on full servers. considering there's only about a thousand players online at the most populated time of the day, lots of us do not have that luxury. but hey, what do you care? as long as you're happy, we all should be, i guess. real "team" player!

yeah, that's the solution. rent a server and buy about sixty copies of the game and give them out so you can play. how about you fund that idea from your burger flipping job?
you're doing a of of talking, but you're not really saying anything worth listening to, are you?

and where's the proof that you hacked the game? try another thread you troll.

This has to be a complete joke. So in other words we need to use forums to organize game matches. Seriously??? I don't have time for that garbage. When I get a moments spare time in my hectic life I want to jump on R02 and play a few matches and have a good time. I want to shoot the bad guys and feel like the rounds from my weapon are traveling at the appropriate speed down range. I don't want to feel like I'm shooting a bow and arrow. The anti-lag mutator makes those further away from the server along with everyone else close by feel like they are playing on a LAN ... It makes an equal playing ground in terms of aiming and pulling the trigger.

Your logic is just failed my friend.

out of everone that replied to my thread, only one has anything negative to say, yet they think that thier voice is so powerful that we should all bow to it?
LOL! just because you make the most noise in a thread, doesn't mean you get your way.
the antilag mutator is coming to a server near you soon. deal with it.

It's ok for him. He will just host his own mutator free server and use the forum to tell it to others which don't live to far from where the server is. They will have great times in talking about how all other players a screwed because those need to play with a mutator and only can play on almost all other servers in the world. I'm getting healous now, because we only will have a lot of servers to play on while he will get one.

Also @ around 200 meter from my experience with ping of 120 I usually have to lead targets 6ft. infront if dude is running 90 across. With bullet travling @ 2500ft. actual lead should be around 4ft. people are just too used to COD lasor bullets

You know there may be some truth to what you have said but this is obviously something that at least a part of the community really likes its not beimg forced upon you or anyone else if you don't like it your more than welcome not to use it but for those of us that have these ****ty connections or dont have any populated.servers to choose from with a decent ping this is a god send and effectively saving this game for many of us. I understand why some people don't like client side hit.detection but personally I have no problem with it and if it allows me and many others to enjoy this awesome game amd potentially give a nice little boost to the player base then what's the problem?

do you know what happens to servers when a bunch of mouthbreathing 200+ pingers start trying to "play" the game? The entire system starts to break down. sub 100 start crying about lag armor, 100+ cry about getting hit behind cover, the general *** hattery of COD and BF comes full force. That's why most servers kick people with pings over 180. Which by the way would end up forcing you to use my solution of starting your own local server anyways. I have no real problems with the mutator, what I have a problem with is this push to have it implemented into RO2. I would rather deal with the lag lead of serverside, than the asshattery of clientside bull****. not to mention the gapping security holes that clientside brings with it.

Agreed. Hopefully, the mutator will be finalized and submitted to TWI to be added to the whitelist. Then those server admins who wish to use the mutator may do so despite the client side security risks.

Played the mutator, it's ****. good old client side bull****. Also hacked the **** out of it to prove a point. I have a better solution, goto low ping servers and populate them, if you don't have one near you buy one.

You didn't actually specify what was going wrong in the time of your testing. As to hacking it, you just admitted that you are a cheater --nice move there--, whether to prove a point or not. Not saying I actually believe you even tested it or hacked it much less "the **** out of it". Just saying more detail with specifics would be much more constructive.
