I've enjoyed it so far. You no longer have to apply lead correction to your shots based on your latency. So every game you play the weapon ballistics behave
exactly the same.. I really like the fact that I feel like I am using a rifle with a round traveling at over 2500fps. The rounds travel down range instantaneously like they should at the engagement distances we play at.
One issue I do have is the client side hit detection makes the R02 gameplay even easier. Running around and quickly ADS and firing with pinpoint accuracy is even more apparent now.
It's like having the rifles mounted in a mobile vise on wheels while you are moving and firing..there is no accounting for the fact that an actual human being is holding the rifle. It's just a lot more apparent now.
I believe once Classic mode gets here and there is more deviation and sway added things will balace themselves out when using the client side hit detection.
Anyway it is nice to try out the differences with this mutator
