A lot of people are getting crashes from gpf/randomness. I was getting the same as well. I figured out how to fix my own problem and hopefully it'll work for you to.
Can't launch the game?
1. Right click on Red Orchestra in your games list in steam
2. Select properties
3. Hit Local Files
4. Click "Verify Integrity of Game Cache"
5. Play the game
You changed a setting and now RO can't launch
Solution:
1. Quit Steam
2. Go to your "C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\<usrname>\" and delete the entire red orchestra (don't worry you don't have to redownload...it's in a packaged .gcf file)
3. Go to your "C:\Program Files\Steam" and delete ClientRegistry.blob
4. Open Steam
5. Launch Red Orchestra
General Protection Fault/Random Crashing - zone alarm
1. If you have zone alarm...get rid of it (sucks anyways...use Sygate Personal Firewall - free if you use google and get older version).
General Protection Fault/Random Crashing - what i had
1. Go to your "C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\<usrname>\" and delete the entire red orchestra (don't worry you don't have to redownload...it's in a packaged .gcf file)
2. Go to your "C:\Program Files\Steam" and delete ClientRegistry.blob
3. Open Steam
4. Launch Red Orchestra
5. DO NOT GO TO MULTIPLAYER
6. Go to practice mode (play for a few minutes)
7. Now play multiplayer =)
Shrug this may or may not work for everyone. If you have other solutions post in this thread.
