If you're in a tight space with a group of people, please crouch for the players behind you, especially if there is a sharpshooter or demolitions behind.

Hey I just saw your steam profile and I want to thank you for the link which tells you your KF stats as total kills etc. Thanks for that! I wanted to send you a message in steam but I guess you ignored the warning. No problem tho, I just wanted to say thanks ;)

Thanks for this thread. It was almost impossible to get a good game going last night (had one solid run). To be fair to the new players, some of them didn't even realize they were on HoE, and when it was explained to them they just left the server (dieing within seconds of a wave starting helped a bit too :p).

Skill this skill that. Bollocks to me really...ive seen newbies(level 0) gun out level 6 players with ease on a hard server. A level 6 doesnt mean sh|t in my book. And yeah lets not start the discussion again, some folk find it a good thing kicking folk that are low levelled(if that even means anything) and some are disgusted by this. End of story

I think you are confusing skill with level. Having a high level doesn't mean you have skill. In fact, yesterday night, I had a level 6 support specialist trying to hog the kills by charging up the slope in Mountain Pass on Hard. The lvl5 medic had a hard time trying to heal him through the trees and the lvl6 support had no armor and kept losing health. Not to mention he kept dying in later rounds.

However, lvl0's that joined in after also had no skill whatsoever either. Essentially, the last 3 waves boiled down to me and a lvl5 medic beating back a 6-man wave. By the end of Wave 10, I had no ammo in my 9mm beretta pistol, no ammo in my combat shotgun, no ammo for my M79 launcher, no hand grenades, and 1 drum for the AA-12. The medic ran out of MP5M ammo and Xbow bolts. That's how bad it got.

Finding a lvl0 with skill is about as rare as striking a new oil well. Not saying there are no lvl0's with skill, but that is far and few in between.

Calm down mate  People can do what they like in their own servers. Kick newbies, don't kick newbies. Each to their own, people run servers how they feel most comfortable and from what their own experiences are with lower level players. :) We don't usually kick newbies in our hard server, but do in higher games after seeing how they go for a wave or two and asking if they have any higher perks.

One of the biggest tips I push is "You don't have to shoot at everything. Let people who are good at taking care of one class of zombie take care of them.

Also, I welcome newbies, but then again, I'm usually playing around on hard. I show them some of the tricks--detonating hand grenandes with a grenade launcher is one that's not usually intuitive--and they think I'm God or something.
