I want to put something similar to the "floating dust effect", like in the indoor section of KF-Manor, into my map. How would I go about doing this?

Also, how does the KF Color Overlay variable-set work? I changed it, and the editor doesn't show any difference. Does it only appear ingame? The default is gray, but it doesn't show up (because there's no on/off switch that I can find for it). What if I want a gray overlay?

The best way to learn is to open up a map that you are trying to emulate or at least parts of that map.

If you open up manor you'll be able to find the dusty area - in this area is an emitter (5 different coloured spots) this is what causes the dust. Just copy and paste it into your map and you'll now have the same effect in your map but don't go overboard with emitters since they will eventually slow your map down.

Well you can go overboard, you just have to set the particles (under display...i think) to like 2, the more particles your emitter has, the more lag you will get
