Hello again. After i read the post about romanian, croatian and italian troops in RO o become this idea.

Maybe it could be easily done by you, Moskeeto. :D

To add croatian or spanish troops (blaue Division, blue Division) you just need to add some insignias to the german uniforms. For Standard winter and summer skins + greycoats. Maybe for the hero winter skins, too.

And of course I hope to see much more of your great work.

e.g.
- Waffen-SS winter skins, e.g. white/green or white/oak brown skins with SS insignias and of course the standard RO2 infantry skins with SS insignias

- recolored German Tankcap (I see it in the SDK) for german Infantry (or Teamleader only)
- Some color variations for russian skins (a little bit more brown or green for the coats. e.g.)
- Helmets for russian winter infantry
- Fur caps for german winter infrantry

I'll keep those suggestions in mind, but I wanted to do a little something for the Russians first:

Spoiler!

I'm not exactly sure what to do to the rest of the uniform though. :X
Google searching "nkvd uniform" gives me a lot of different results that aren't very consistent.

First image is a good example of greatcoats in their proper color, they're much too light in game. second is a standard issue ushanka, the fur is too light in game as well. I think changing those and maybe adding Telogreika jackets for non-heroes would be all the Russians need.

A little offtopic, but what is the russian name of the soviet tank helmet? I read it somewhere in the forums, but couldn't find the thread. So I thought let's search again on google it will not take long...yeah. 100 pages where you can buy them only as "soviet tank helmet" etc. Didn't think this was so hard.

Thanks in advance

edit: I am pretty sure it was a thread about soviet headgear and the guy also talked about pilotkas and ushankas. And then there was a third russian word. Hmmm.

I think TWI wanted to make half-length coats. Usually Siberian divisions wear it. See pix below, they very warm. But did something strange.

This light ushankas seems like ushankas for hi officers from natural sheep wool. Soldiers worn standard grey colored and not natural.

Judging by how often it happens when you are a winter uniform hero, they probably made them light to avoid TK's

+1
That Ushanka pictured is a Bulgarian model from the 50's but they were pretty much identical to the Soviet WW2 ones. 90% issued to standard infantry were a medium or dark brown color, The standard was not white or grey as often depicted. My Bulgarian -

There is only Танковый шлем "Tankoviy Shlem", or Шлем Танкиста "Shlem Tankista", maybe there is some other word, but either it's a nickname or just a synonym or something like that.

Шлем (Shlem) is a component of defensive clothing or armour for the head, in general terms.

I also heard of Шлемофон "Shlemofon" - it is related apparently overall to headwear meant not only for tank crew but also pilots and astronauts.

So what are the chances we can get these skins submitted for whitelisting now that they are working on unranked servers? or is it more complicated to port them over to ranked than that?
