do you think it's difficult to animate for SDK ? would I need to know how to model to animate 3d objects ? If i opened up a modelling program I would know how to move objects around, but I don't know how to create new models. I ask because I took traditional (2d) animation in school, was thinking about trying to pick up 3d animation.

I really couldn't tell you, I have no experience there. However if you search youtube for videos about animation in the UDK I bet you can find a lot of useful stuff.

Yes, a little bit darker. would be fine.

But there is no 100% correct color needed, because even a uniform tunic could look different in color (even today :D)

There is even a version with a dark collar possible

Have play the new version today, with the coats and Kaminskis Waffen-SS skins.

I really love your coats, very nice work. Looks very authentic, and there is nothing that reminds me to the russian coat anymore^^

It's a shame all these mods are tied in together. Would love to use the skins but I'm not massively into the changed sounds or the aiming changes.

Sadly :(

but no problem, because you can disable the new sound in the Workshop config and only use the new skins, if you want.

Just try it

Edit: Thx LugNut ^^

The main thing I'm wondering about is if servers will force the settings on because of the way they change the character settings.

And I do know how to configure it for my PC with offline play. :p

Maybe I'm not following you? A server admin could run just the skins without it affecting anything else as far as I know. I'm not a coder, so I might be mistaken.

I'm not saying they couldn't just only have the skins enabled. I'm on about servers that'll just leave all the other things on.

Yeah, I think most will enable at least some if not most of the other options, which if you only want skins, could be a problem for you. It'll be interesting to see how well it's adopted with admins, I have high hopes for it.

I would like to pitch the skin system to TWI so that they can implement it and allow anyone to get on putting their skins in-game. It is still pretty complicated however, and it would take a lot to explain its intricacies to a non-programmer.

Cwivey, I remember the days when you were creating your own sound packs... I'm a programmer, not a sound designer (though I love the stuff) and howitzer has been into other projects for a while.

So... perhaps I can create a similar system for the game's sounds, to make them easily moddable for everyone :)

Dibbler! Dibbler!!

STOP!

STAHP!

Stop doing EVERYTHING so amazingly before you become Too Good To Be True!

On a more serious note: I'll see about getting my hands on the latest bundle of goodness and doing a crash test or two with it. I'll post somewhere if anything odd comes up.

are any of them in MP yet :D if they are, what servers have them so far!??

trust me, if this mod would be ready and online, I would write it in big letters and then I will leave the forum and enjoy the game for some hours :D

Right know you can just test it "offline" in your workshop and when you find some bugs, or become some errors, it would be nice to report them here (if nobody do it before) ;)
