I've take this project upon myself after a friend of mine has constantly mentioned how much he wants German camo in game. Originally, I made this texture as a CS:GO weapon skin (upvote it please), but I loved how it turned out that I figured I could put it into RO2 as well.

So far, I have only textured these first-person arms. I plan on doing the rest of the first person, then moving onto retexturing the character models. I'm still learning how to implement it, so help is extremely welcome! :D

EDIT: I almost forgot to thank Nightingale for helping me out with navigating the SDK! He was a big help with getting me on the right track.

NICE! but where are we gonna find an eight-fingered model to show off the glove in the first pic? ;)

what program are you using to make the stuff? it's not in the sdk,right?

Ha I think that glove is split in half, makes it look like 8 fingers. Photoshop looks like the top pic.

Kudos to you Moskeeto for doing this. Now lets hope a certain skins fanatic doesn't get into this thread...;)

It's still a lot of work, but it should be easier to do since he's only re-texturing the existing models.....Hardest thing will be for someone to write up some code, make a mutator. Otherwise you won't be able to use them. Make a Faction or Custom Family mutator.

Im sorry, im fully aware of the work needed. but i turned really pesimistic after all these anouncements (ww1 mod, ss skinds, extra vehicles after release of ro2, new grenades for germans) and then they disappeared. And i believe there are some other people who think like me.

I respect all moders, because theyre making a good game better. Thank you all.

I'm using Photoshop to edit the textures and the SDK to preview the work.

I used umodel (UE Viewer).

I don't even know how hard it is to get it in game. I figured it's best not to worry about that and just finish making the textures first. Maybe then I can figure it out, or get some more help.

Yeah, that'll definitely be the toughest part, but hopefully I won't have to brave it alone since I have no coding experience.

Progress is being made on the character model. I need to work on the smaller details and retexturing the hood.
