Should not Thompson's bolt stay back after last shot?

Reloading animation should be only change of magazine every time - no charging.

Ideal option would be bolt staying back on empty mag, but closing if player tries to fire again.
I am more concerned about m1 though, if you want to unload it you should push the button on the left, like this guy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rWZ52Kl6JWA

You cannot drop it if it's M1A1. As long as empty magazine is inside you cannot. Check the video you sent me and skip 1928 to the M1 part. On 2:49 you can see that he pressed the trigger again after he magazine was empty and the bolt stayed back.
