RO clans just play the game competitive while keeping the game as similar to the base RO game play experience, if changes are made to the game they are made to make the game more competitive, realism is not the core concern of clans.
Realism units as the name implies care more about using real world tactics, they are different groups, but they aren't similar to how you describe them.
