Firefox 3 is Out

If you're on FF2, go upgrade your browser. The only snag I encountered was Tab Mix Plus wasn't fully FF3 ready yet. I had to grab a dev build for it. However, most other extentions seem to be FF3 ready.

I like what they've done. Call it what you will, but pages are loading a bit faster for me compared to 2.x.

Well, pages do seem to load faster. I haven't had a chance to record its memory usage yet however. For the most part, most things seem to be little aesthetic enhancements and welcome UI changes. Otherwise, not much new here.

I want my old default skin back though.

Been using beta for a while, and I really like it. Only thing (maybe an option, dunno) is that you can't click on your default Download folder from the download manager anymore.

Well, it sucks on linux distro's for me.
So I'll stay with Iceweasel for the time being.
Way too many java related crashes etc etc.

Actually it gives you the sites you last visited. It just is more detailed and has the site logo with it too.

I like it alot. Just a second ago I typed a link addres that wasn't even the right one, but this thing still got me to the right site. It's like a google or other search program.

Hmmm, I think I like it. Most of my addons and skins aren't compatible (I have quite a lot), but that's ok. Don't think I like how the address bar remembers bookmarks rather than recent site visits. Is that changeable?

Anyway, I'll try it out after the format because my FF is too screwed up anyway (I guess a virus).

Only thing sucks about it is that it doesn't seem to work on my wife's laptop - Toshiba Tecra 8000 w/P2-233, 128MB and XP SP2. It literally will not start. I've re-installed it twice.

I LOVE it on my eeePc, though. The F11 full screen mode is great - the whole title bar goes away unless I move the mouse over it ... that's just fantastic.
