Firebug should have Fire Axe!

Game balance must take first place,reality should be second.

And giving firebugs the axe is the best way to rebalance them? Rather than, say, making their strengths worthwhile strengths on higher difficulties, you'll just remove their weaknesses instead?

I always see firebugs IRL as people who stand near the front line of a camping spot. They shouldn't be moving around fast, because they carry a lot of heavy kit. But encouraging people to kill scrakes and FPs like a zerker, and with the fast movement speed of zeds on HoE making the DoT damage nearly useless, you'll be encouraging people to make them zerker v2.0.

Anyways, with a full set of equipment and no movement speed buff, they still won't be able to kite fleshpounds like a zerker because they'll be too slow. And no, they are not having a speed buff as well.

The fireaxe should set specimens with fire! That way, it adds use of melay combat with fire bonus like true firebug! It could be blamed on science becuase firebugs use fire-science and full of flame, and would add tons to gameplay becuase class goes into up close and personal lots of intense moments exciting gampleay for pros.

Not wanna burst your bubbles, but isn't flame thrower rather close-combat weapon with 100% fire = 100% perk-fitting? Why give him zerker weapon which is even closer combat, with worse effects? That being said, I still think you should leave TF2 alone from KF. What'd be next, a shotgun for commando and minigun? A sniping rifle, machete and bow for sharpshooter? A Baseball bat and sawed-off double barreled shotty for zerker? Or maybe claymore for demolition?

Just saying "It happens because of SCIENCE" isn't really enough or at all in fitting with the rest of the game.

Plus, the point of firebugs is that they DON'T get THAT up and personal. They're close range, but not melee range.
