Running the game in eyefinity mode (5760x1080) and it runs like _UTTER PANTS_

Talking 15 fps here, if lucky i'll hit 25 looking up in the sky! I run just about any other game out now well over 50 FPS. Metro 2033 runs better at that resolution then what this game does.. And metro stomps this game graphically.

This is on a fresh PC too just re-formated yesterday. Latest drivers / CAP / DirectX

Will post some data later when i collect it.

All low settings and all tickbox settings turned off ingame (Bar the one frame lag), 1440x900 resolution.

Getting 70fps when stood still in Apartments by myself with about 60% - 70% GPU usage (Sounds good, but drops dramatically when other people are ingame)

Programs Running: Steam, Nod32 (However I disable it when gaming), Mumble and Z-Engine

Just got myself a new ATI HD 6850 1GB and tried out the RO2 Beta.

Getting about 60fps stood still on Barracks with my settings now changed so that everything is on medium (GPU usage is down to 30 - 38%.) And once again only one frame lag in enabled in the tick boxes.)

Something is seriously wrong here :)

1920x1080, all High settings (no Ultra), War Movie PP, only bloom, light shafts and one frame thread lag enabled. (no motion blur, no ambient occlusion, no framerate smoothing etc).

I get about 35-70 FPS in all maps, seems to dip more in open areas. Considering I get a constant 60FPS with Bulletstorm using the same config, I think the UE3 engine is capable of better.

I normally use VSync, so at first I thought it was you guys not doing triple-buffering or something, but I get the same fluctuations and dips without Vsync enabled, and others I've talked to that don't use it are seeing the same thing.

I live about 40 minutes from the Tripwire HQ, but I'm not sure I want to drag my desktop over to you guys. :p

Everything is on low settings.

Avg fps on Barracks is 30-35 with minimum desired fps of 35 configured in a full 64 player server.
Avg fps on Barracks on an empty server is between 50-70.

Grain Elevator on an empty server also gets me about 50-70 fps with a hiccup now and then.
In a full server this is about 25-35 fps.

And as last Red Factory also gives me a 50-70 fps without players in them. Well hopefully this information is useful to you guys. I can now confirm the poor fps is generally caused by having a lot of players in the server.

I also have yet to encounter a crash after doing this

Hey ppl im new to the forums and RO love the game but since the update came out i lag a lot before i could run on ultra with almost no problems now on ultra i have around 5 fps
My specs
OS-Windows 7 home premium 64-bit(6.1, 7600build)
Processor-Intel core i5 cpu M520 @ 2.40 GHz (4 cpus), ~2.4GHz

I checked my CPU/GPU utilization while playing one of the new map (although I think this happens on all of them), and my CPU was at about 60% utilization while my GPU was at 70% utilization.

Games are either CPU or GPU bound, and that can vary on a per system basis, but I've rarely seen a game not max out one or the other.

I'm running 35FPS maxed out, but there's extra GPU and extra CPU power available that the engine simply isn't using. This is a big problem, and I bet it's a factor in why people are reporting performance issues.

Vsynch, framerate smoothing, and 1-frame buffer are all checked off.


Can other people report their CPU/GPU utilization while in game and post the results they get? Again, for me I'm at 60% CPU utilization and 74% GPU use (checked w/ MSI afterburner graphs).

This is my first Reply ever on the forms. It seems that the update really did do something with the FPS and Lagg. its not just me I guess.

My specs:
CPU: Intel Core2 Quad 8200 2.33GHz
GPU: GTX570 280 drivers
Ram: 8gigs ddr2 dual chanel Corssair Xtream
Sound Card: XFI-Titanium

Internet: 20mbs down/ 10mbs up
Running: avast,steam, nvidia, Tt mouse, sound card Controals

It is a National Holiday here in the USA. I imagine most of the team took at least part of the day off to see their families and maybe sleep :p

They do deserve at least a little sleep don't they? :D

Anyway, I get:

- Loading a map CPU goes near or at 100% usage for the four cores and GPUs go to near 0% usage.
- In game, I have GPU usage around 40-70% between my two 8800GTs and CPU usage varies greatly but never gets near the usage when loading a map.
- SLI indicators seem to think that overall my CPU is my bottleneck in my system.

I am generally running on High settings with Medium Shadows, Low AA and no Ambient Occlussion... 1920 x 1080 FOV 90
CPU - Q6600 at 3.0 OC
GPUs - 8800GTs in SLI
Win 7 Pro 64bit
4GB RAM

average frames is usually 50-60... and 30-50 in large open areas
all setting on ultra except shadows and lighting are on medium
light rays on, everything else off

If i run everything else BUT FXAA and shadows high and bloom and motion blur disabled i get around 60-120 FPS.

Now i need to disable "One thread frame lag" because the input lag for me is intolerable so that cuts -25 fps for me instantly.

Now my minimum fps on some maps drop to around 40.

Now with this shadows bug which makes me crash with anything else than shadows HIGH my minimum fps goes down another 10-15 FPS. (THIS is obvious bug and easily reproduced by huge amount of people)

So at this point it's pretty bad and full servers average fps hoovers around 30. Where if i could disable shadows it would be 10-20 FPS more.

So if TWI could fix this crashing with low shadows and maybe optimize it little bit more i would be satisfied.
