This.
When I'm outdoors, my frames vary greatly
Go down one road - 50 FPS
Go down another - drops down to 30 FPS
Fallen Fighters is the worst for that, even though Apartments does the same.

Yes mine is pretty bad on Fallen Fighters.

Windows OS Version and 32 or 64 bit: - e.g. Windows 7 Professional Service Pack 1 64 bit
Exact Processor Model: - Intel i5 750 @ 3,5 GHz (I've tried @ stock aswell)
Exact Video Card Model: - ATI HD 5970 2GB @ stock
Amount of Ram: - 8 GB DDR3 @ 1600 MHz (I've tried 1333 MHz aswell)

I average at about 80 FPS in "Apartments" on Medium settings with no other players on the server. GPU load is around 30-40 % (except for in the menu, then it's 100%). I've also switched off the "FPS Smoothing" because that setting wouldn't allow me to go over 60 fps!

I have the following applications running:

RO2:HoS Beta (obviously)
ESET Smart Security (with the RO2 folders added to exceptions)
Steam
ATI CCC

I have tried switching Crossfire off, to no avail.

That Fov think actually help. Add about 40 precent of performance.
My setup.
i5-750 at 2,8 ghz
Ati 5770 1 gb at 900/1350
4 gb ram at 1333
Windows 7 64 bit
Latest driver.

Running programs:Teamspeak,msiafterburner,coretemp.
Antivirus: Avast free.
Resolution:1680x1050 (native)

Before i change fov to 60 i played on medium(only first three things) and rest on low. And i had like 30-60 fps with fov 75

Now i play on fov 60 and i have high (only first three things) rest medium with AA on low. And i have 45-70 fps. 45 fps i have only when i am looking over whole map of firefighter with 64 players on map. On empty map i get like 55 maybe.

I think its adequate to my setup. If its not. Tell me that and i will start again cryin' like a little baby :)

Update: Increase other things like FX quality from medium to high doesnt change a thing. so now i run full high ( with no AA and no shadows)

Update 2: I ahve almost same setup as Manikone under me ( he has better graphic about 7 precent, but i have mine overclocked so its almost same) and he is right. i can run it on ultra too and its still kinda playable, but i rather change it to high for 2 reason. 1) Quality is not a bigger at all. 2) on high i have like 10 fps more on avarage so i have it even more smooth. So i think i reach my setup line. And its ok. So guys watch your FOV !!!!!

Exact Processor Model: Core i5 750 2.8Ghz

Average FPS when alone on firefight: 70-90 depending on location.

Running software: Steam, ati CCC, windows antivirus (just for passive checks when I need it, no active protection).

Getting horrible fps when playing online. On fallen fighters 64 players I go down to 25-30 fps even when running on lowest and all eyecandy effects off. Performance differences between lowest to medium are minimal, on high I get a bit lower fps than medium but not too much. Haven't tried on ultra.

Ultra Settings at 1920x1080

Shadows are medium/high. Don't remember.

Avarage fps in Appartments is 63-50. And other maps too. If there is a very intense scene, it may drop to 30 but it usually goes back up. I gained much fps by lowering the shadow slider from ultra.

While playing in Apartments with NO other players my frame rate is between 32-40 FPS. This is with all of the settings maxed out.

I am running Microsoft Security Essentials, Skype, Malwarebytes and Fraps in the background while playing.

*Changing my FOV from 90 to 70 significantly increased my framerate. However, a PC as strong as mine should be able to handle an UE3 game regardless of settings.

While playing on Fallen Fighters I noticed that compared to the rest of the maps it is only using ~25% of my GPU. On all the other maps I average ~50% usage, perhaps there is something in specific with Fallen Fighters that gives some of us poor performance.

According to Msi afterburner, usage of my gpu is on both maps ( firefighters, apartments both on 64 players mode) is about 75 % ( this game is taking maximum off my pc) so i think its your personal problem, or maybe the game ( its still beta)

And i dont think there is problem with fallen fighters in performace. It is open map so we must expect lower fps. But not so drasticly.

Hello mates

Windows 7 64 bit
Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4 Ghz
Ati 4850 512 Megs of ram
4 Gigs Ram

Apartment, without players, 27-38 FPS

Graphic configuration.

Resolution 1680*1050
Graphics Quality Custom
Post processing preset Normal
Vsync off
Full Screen on

All options in advanced configuration were in high, fxxa in medium and I only actived Lights shafts, the other options in off.

Thank you for your time. This game is awesome

Edit. In a normal multiplayer game (Apartaments), I was monitoring the load on the GPU, it was 60% (average), the values were between 70% and 50%. The graphics drivers are updated.

Windows: OS version:Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2
Processor: AMD Phenom(tm) 9150e Quad Core Processor 1.80 GHz
Video Card: Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT
Ram: 4GB

I figured I'd get better performance being able to run the game on medium with 30-40 or low with maybe 50-60 but instead on lowest I get about 20-30 on apartments; 30 if I'm lucky and go inside on apartments where once in a blue moon I won't be in the twenties. While trying to test apartments on medium settings my game ended up crashing. However I doubt it has to do with putting the game on these settings as I played a 64 player server on medium settings fine last night (Ignoring the low fps of course). Might be worth mentioning I'm playing at a resolution of 1400x900 but I'd still think I'd be able to run the game better then I am now... Who knows though, I could be wrong.

As for programs in the background, I have Norton 360, Steam, and RO2 obviously. As for the crash log, I tried Private messaging Yoshiro but apparantly I hadn't filled out the subject and message parts of the PM, despite doing so... Maybe I missed something. Either way hope this helps, and hope I find out what's going on.
