Hi guys. I'm fairly new to RO. I've played RO maybe 4-6 hours total now. I've already played RO2 more than RO and it isn't even release..haha.

I created this thread because I'm looking for some friends to play with on steam. I don't have any RL buddies that play this.. they're all in to the whole console scene. I'm not trying to sound desperate just looking for a few good men to game with...

Steam name: Swifta
have/use coms
Age... 27. :D

see you all out there :IS2:

Or just find a server where you have fun and stick with it. Get to know the admins and regulars, get on external comms like TeamSpeak, and just be friendly.

These days, people arent very chatty anymore.
TF2, MOH, BC2, RO2, COD series are all very dead in the chat.

The only games I notice people actually chat in, are CS and CSS.

Its not very easy to "Get to know" people these days.

thats just whats happening in Western society as people are becoming more isolated from each other. Sad but true. Anyways Clan is the best way to go. Yet to join one, but on servers i have been playing on people have been chatty and stuff, its pretty good.

Hi Swifta,

As has been said by Switchblade, if you have the time and inclination, it is worth searching out a clan http://forums.tripwireinteractive.com/forumdisplay.php?f=77

Not got the time? Have a look at joining Iron Crescendo for some organised team play. http://forums.tripwireinteractive.com/showthread.php?t=55547&highlight=Iron+Crescendo

Even through normal play, if you visit the same servers and play in a team orientated fashion, you will get to know the other people doing the same :)

It would be nice if you all could edit in your time zones/location. It's no use playing with someone when you're asleep. I'm personally looking for an English or Norwegian speaking relaxed clan (ie. tactical while not demanding that you play 3 hours a day) in Europe.

Nobody seems to use mics on European servers. Well, I've heard some erratic Swedish chatter, but that's about it.
