Well dudes as I did explain in my first post when I entroduced my self I was very interested in the new game since I was getting sick of COD play style and also I tried BFBC2 and I got again the same old consolish feeling about it.
It seems that Activision never made game as PC exclusive type as the very frisrt vCOD and CODUO,those 2 games were never in the realism aspect as ROOST but they were real enough comparing to the games are made today(pure console ports).

So thanks to all that talked me into buying the ROOST and trying it out.First started playing it sometime in mid October and was very hard to pick up the pace due to the way the game was reacting on me trying to force some movements in it,aiming was only a challenge for the first 4-5 hrs of gameplay just enough to get the feeling how much sway there is when after running and sometimes its better to waith couple of sec iven with bolt rifle to gain stamina before crouch+lean and shoot, less sway the better(I'm sure you all know this no need for me to blablabla...)

As in every other game I can tell when I get the full control of the game, for me the way I know that moment has arrived is when the whole game comes natural to me and I play it very agressive....

So this past 4 days I've been playing it non stop,I mean countless hours since I havent worked this week at all....
Last night at 24/7 Danzing I had some ridiculous scores,180,160,120,150 points,I was on a serious role and then I was like maeby its like this because I can cap more and kill more due to CQC on Danzig by using LMG or the semi rifle...So picked up a bolt rifle, and WOW lots of sway or lil sway wouldnt matter I was always around 100+ mark in points.I was picking up on snipers and MG that were destroying my team, and constantly caping while with bolt rifle...

Same results were at RODH at 29th server(love that server always full),same results...between 100-150max points per round and tons of kills.

So yeah I'm officially in love with this game, its the same love as when I had for vCOD the true COD game, not todays bull crap releases...

So FYI,COD players that they played the very first COD they will have less problems addapting to the realism aspect in RO2 or ROOST than any other gamer that only played modern warfare FPS games.

there was a dude that last night asked me how many years I've been playing ROOST,I told him I bought the game a month and a half a go and maeby I have over 30 or 40 hrs played....he just loled and didnt believed me.

if it was recently I'm sure I remember, but if it was like a month a go i doubt i was to busy trying to do something in game and probably telling every one that kills me that he is a camper LOL (its a reaction of little bit of rage and sarcasam)

Where did we played? what server? were u on my team? if it was a month a go probably I was the last one on the score borad....I couldnt do a damn thing right in the beggining.

Sadly after a short while you will somewhat not bother any more with obtaining a high score as you then do not trust the representation of the scoreboard. So then you'll be focussing less on capping and more on supporting from say flanks or taking away individual targets that hamper your team.

I wouldn't say "sadly" necessarily. As the score in RO1 can be (and usually is) total BS, it helps that not everyone cares about it and plays for their team to win. After 4 years, everyone knows who the cap and mg supply whores are :p.

I know, I know. I'm now about to get an earful of how to make the scoreboard better, but I, personally, don't really care. TW could make the score tally strictly win or lose and it wouldn't matter to me. It wouldn't change my style of playing. All I ask is that I get a chance to be the first person to kill the top scoring player on the losing side that types "pwnt" in the chat . (even if I have to TK him )

Nice to hear that you got the hang of the game. It's one of those things that takes some time, but once you get the hang of it, RO plays very fluidly.

That said, I still have days where I'm just not coordinated and randomly suck at RO, even after years and years of playing (since 2004).

yeah, Im brand new as well, got the game a few days ago.

I have managed 35 points at one time...but I am not all too good, as it would appear that figuring out where your bullet is going is more difficult than expected. So it's either praying you got it right, or trying to hold down the machinegun recoil, which is taking a little time.

And already I think I may be getting sick of Danzig.
