Any chance it will be implemented in some way? Yes yes, the Soviets need love too, maybe they could get the carriage mounted maxim gun?

Well... don't expect TWI to make it ! If we have a chance to see this gun it would be only by IOM Team ! And i think it fits Perfect with this Model ..;)

RO2 + Westfront + IOM gameplay = nearly perfect game :D (need much more for tank gameplay and more realism)

The FG42 only being used by the fallshirmjager and the fallshirmjager not being very active in the East after the issue of the FG42 does raise a few problems on the authenticity front if added to RO2.

Fg42 shouldn't be added, too much work! Focus on other small arms especially for RS.

There really isn't a difference between adding an Fg42 and a random other gun. When it comes down to coding the only thing that would make a weapon more work if it had special circumstances, look at the bazooka for example. Modeling it isn't a problem, it's deciding what to add into the game.
